Matt Yurus Biography
Matt Yurus is an American reporter, anchor and lawyer. He serves as a CBS Local News’s first digital anchor. There, he reports breaking news and enterprising stories for all CBS O&O websites.
He also anchors and reports on-air in Dallas-Ft. Worth. where he is based.
Yurus attended Medill School of Journalism, Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. He earned a Master of Science in Journalism, Reporting Concentration: politics, national security, legal Activities/honors: Representative, Student Advisory Council; Recipient, Richard Schwarzlose Scholarship. He started his journalism career at WUSA9, the CBS affiliate in Washington, D.C as a field producer, MMJ and reporter.
