Rodriguez attended the Arizona State University – Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She got her Bachelor’s degree in ‘Broadcast Journalism’. At the same university, she furthered her education with a masters in ‘Public Policy and Public Policy Analysis’.
She later on enrolled in a number of extracurricular activities and societies such as the National Academy of Arts and Sciences, the National Association of Hispanic Journalists and the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She also went through university as a Hearth Scholar & interned at multiple news stations in Phoenix while working on her degree.
